Containers have now been widespread for a while. A new concept is already starting to breakthrough: serverless. What is it? Is it just a buzzword, or is it a genuine step change? Is it already time to bin containers? During this presentation, we’ll present the principles behind serverless and we will complete an application deployment using AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions and the Serverless Framework. We’ll aim to shed some light on the possible benefits of this technology via some use cases.
