XMPP and the Internet of Things

This XMPP and the Internet of Things meetup will be hosted by Joachim Lindborg (learn more about him here http://www.theinternetofthings.eu/joachim-lindborg)
The evening will kick off with a presentation by Joachim on the XMPP extensions for interoperability in Internet of Things (developed with Peter Waher). Joachim will then walk you through a hands on demonstration, before inviting you to get stuck in and try it yourself one one of the many devices (including raspberry pi's) we will have available
And our sponsors Surevine will be providing scrumptious snacks and local ales to keep everyone going.
It's set to be a great hands-on evening!

This event is about to get even more exciting! Shoreditch Village Hall have come to our rescue after we had a venue-wobble... and we are combining our meet-up into their IoT hackathon and conference! They have kindly come to our rescue and have invited us in to join them, and who are we to resist such a great opportunity to combine our communities and networks!
