Szymon started his journey with Scala 7 years ago. He works at VirtusLab, where he's been using ZIO on a daily basis for the last one and a half years.

During this workshop, you'll learn the basics of programming applications with ZIO and its ecosystem. ZIO is a library for asynchronous and concurrent programming which is gaining more and more popularity and is used by many companies worldwide.
We will mainly focus on the practical aspects of creating applications with this toolset.
The basic knowledge of Scala is required.
Requirements: Laptop with JDK, sbt (the build tool) and Scala IDE of choice.
