Advanced React/Redux: Fundamentals of RxJS & Redux-Observable
RxJS and Redux-Observable provide the complex side effects, asynchronous data fetching, and server-side rendering that traditional React & Redux apps cannot (among other benefits). These technologies extend your developer abilities and are also a joy to work with. In this advanced workshop, you will learn what these tools are while getting practical experience on how and when to use them by integrating these and other features within the context of a full-stack React & Redux application. This was the most popular workshop at Reactathon SF 2017.
Instructor: Berkeley Martinez
Berkeley is a San Francisco native and the CTO of freeCodeCamp.com, where students learn full-stack web development by engineering solutions for nonprofits. He is the author of Redux-Epic, a library built to do better async and server-side rendering in React with RxJS Observables. He was invited to the official Redux-Observable repo to introduce a supported feature for server-side rendering.
Berkeley has worked as a professional consultant and instructor on the React ecosystem for over a year and has trained engineers from Twilio, Amazon, OpenTable, Nerdwallet, Pinterest, Netflix and more.
