Who are we? The future? What Future?...

Aug 1, 2015 · Nairobi, Kenya

Hello guys,

I hope you are all well.

So this may be the best meetup we may have for years to come. It may be the meetup that is the fulcrum to change. That will pivot things to favour us for the years to come. The barcamp for NairobiJS community.

Who are we? Yes developers, but in this 21 century being a developer is not just being a developer. It is having the power to build or change the world literally at out fingertips...

Bull****!!! right! That's what some will say and the rest of the society. Yet anything digital change they'd have to pass by you. You could even steal and build their ideas in days. Launch a startup and skyrocket.

Is this still bull****! Yes it is? why, you don't see yourself that powerful. Or they don't. So how do they? how do you show your value amongst mediocre developers that trod it down everytime. How do we separate ourselves from mediocres in this career. Come join me, sit down and talk...have some snacks and refreshment.

...and see how we can change/enhance the fate of us, as a community of awesome devs, problem solvers, the future of startups...the list is endless but you get me. Looking forward to see you then.
