Virtual spaces have the mystical quality of being both nowhere and yet present through the technologies that make them possible. Just as “real” spaces, they are vessels of reality in which we can express ourselves and create the world around us in our own way. They also possess a unique ability –they can expand our perception, helping us look a bit further outwards and a bit deeper within ourselves.
This Meetup will feature, for the first time in VRVienna, 3 Augmented Reality projects, all of which will reveal a different approach to the development of virtual spaces in the fields of art, construction, advertising, and even within our own bodies. Take a deep breath and read on!
For this edition of VRVienna, we’ve partnered up with Maker Faire Vienna (http://www.makerfairevienna.com/), one of the greatest international show and tell events about innovation, creativity, and technology, as part of their main event program.
