Usability is a core responsibility of UX Design, but if you haven't addressed the accessibility requirements that cater for the full spectrum of users engaging with your product, then you haven't met the brief!
Assistive technology has revolutionised the way in which we interact with our devices. Design constraints and guidelines should be a part of your common design practice and should always be considered when evaluating the product or service. From keyboard-only users to users to those with sensory issues, it's crucial to keep all abilities in mind when designing, to ensure that everyone's needs are recognised, valued and met.
We're so proud to be part of a community that really understands the importance of inclusivity and accessibility. In alignment with 'National Persons with Disabilities Week', we'll be joined by an awesome set of panellists who'll be discussing how innovation through the UX process can perpetuate inclusion through design. We'll be digging in to their design processes, to understand how they ensure they're designing for everybody - regardless of how alternative or complex their needs may be. Join us to learn what you can do to ensure you're doing all you can when catering to the needs of others.
