We are considering forming a team for the Self-Driving Car Challenge that Udacity has issued in conjunction with Didi Chuxing (touted as the world's largest ride-sharing taxi service, based in China). Details of the challenge can be found at https://www.udacity.com/didi-challenge. Prizes include:
• $100,000 winning prize
• 5 top teams will fly to Silicon Valley for the awards ceremony
• 5 teams will run their code on Udacity's Self-Driving Car

STUDY GROUP SESSION EVENT:
Our study group sessions tend to involve discussing our project assignments for the first 1 - 1.5 hours. The remaining 1.5 - 2 hours involve general discussion about self-driving cars and technologies related to them. Afterwards, we usually get lunch and geek out even more.
While this event is primarily intended for those who are enrolled in the Udacity's Self Driving Car nanodegree program, all members are welcome.
Term 1 and 2 projects and syllabus are listed at:

If you have not already seen George Sung's (from the Oct. cohort) presentation on the course overview, as well as his insights on Projects 1-3, you will find invaluable Life Pro Tips at https://youtu.be/GB0qNAnxnBg:
To register for this event, please provide your full name, email address, and cohort month if you have not done so previously. Also, for any topics/questions you would like to cover during the study group, please add them to the comments section below.
For further communications on this event, I will be sending updates only to those who register with their email address. I have heard from some members that the Meetup mail queue server has sent them messages several days after a message was originally sent. Also, if you have not done so already, please join Udacity's nd013.slack.com #boston channel at https://nd013.slack.com/archives/boston. To receive an invite for this Slack team, please go to https://nd013.udacity.com/. This will enable real-time coordination when necessary.
