Traditions vs Statistics

Apr 26, 2016 · Zürich, Switzerland

Hi all,

I am glad to announce the next Zurich F# meetup, scheduled for Tue, 26 April at 7 PM, same place as usual. (If you come for the first time, please download this pdf to make sure you find the location.)

Natallie Baikevich, computer scientist and professional F# software engineer, has chosen a timely subject for her presentation:

Traditions vs Statistics

We'll soon find out what the next summer is gonna be like - Sechseläuten
is just around the corner. But how closely do the Böögg's forecasts
reflect the reality?
In this hands-on session we'll take a look at weather data and try to
understand it. Any languages and tools of your choice - all is fair.
Of course, there's a little starter pack for F# people, which will help to
dig into data, so no previous experience is required, but keep your
imagination ready and don't forget a laptop!

All the best and see you soon,
