Join us for a personalized tour of the Mercy Virtual Care Center (MVCC). After the tour we will hear presentations from different staff members, some of whom are charged with managing and analyzing MVCC's vast amounts of data.
The tour begins promptly at 6:00 PM. In order to participate with the tour, you must arrive on time at MVCC.
(Please do not go to 4240 Duncan. We will not be there.)
Food and refreshments will not be provided during this event. Please plan accordingly.
We can only accommodate 50 people for this event. The RSVP will function as first come, first served. Please keep your RSVP updated. If you are no longer able to attend, please switch your "yes" to "no" so someone else can attend. It's 2018, 'RSVPing' for events and not showing up is so last year, duh.
Brief description of MVCC:
Opened in October 2015, the Virtual Care Center is the first and only facility of its kind. The four-story, 125,000 square-foot building is the cornerstone of Mercy’s virtual care program, and serves as a nationally recognized center for developing and delivering telehealth.
The Mercy Virtual Care Center was designed specifically to support the delivery of telehealth services. It is the command center for the nation’s largest electronic intensive care unit and other telehealth services, including telestroke, Nurse On Call and physician teleconsults.
Parking: Visitor parking is available in the front and back of the building.
