Toronto Needs to Urgently Level Up Growth Marketing

Apr 23, 2018 · Toronto, Canada

Here in Toronto we are great at building companies that get to 50 or 100 employees. But then we stall. Why is that? In this session, we have put a panel together of some of the people working hard to level up growth here in the city. We will talk about why growth isn't just about acquisition and why growth is best when the team can directly impact the product itself. We will also talk about why growth is stuck in Toronto and how we can break the existing mindsets.

HOSTED BY: CHRIS HAMOEN, CEO of ACCOUNT HQ

Chris Hamoen is currently the founder and CEO of Account HQ, where he is building the next generation of CRM. Previously, Chris previously was Director of Growth at Hubba, where he was part of an amazing team that grew from 10 employees to almost 80 in 2 years and raised a Series A and Series B round of financing.

Chris is also actively involved in mentoring and coaching new Canadians in the technology sector, as well as unemployed & underemployed university students. Recently, Chris has founded the Toronto Growth Peer Meetup group, where he is working with other rockstars to build a culture of growth in Toronto.
