The year of 2018 has been a complete video revolution year for entrepreneurs, marketers and the rest of digital people that implemented video content marketing as a part of their online strategy.
Unlike many other channels that can be hard to consume, video allows you to be concise and capture viewers' interest in the first few seconds. It also boosts conversions and sales, increases the ROI, and it builds better trust with your customers. Sure, that's all fine and dandy and you probably knew that, but how does one start with doing video?
The first step is obviously to purchase some basic equipment, create an editorial calendar to lead the way, and you should be ready to roll. You click the red button, point the camera, shoot the video, stop recording, and if you've done everything correctly - an .mp4 (or similar) file should be saved to your hard drive - now what?
Now it's time to summon your inspirational muse and get into the lovely world of media management, scripting, motion graphics, colour correction and sound design.
That can sound a bit SCARY, but who cares - it's Halloween!
The agenda for the upcoming Tinel Meetup #29 is as follows:
18:00 — 18:30 The gathering
18:30 — 18:45 Opening remarks
18:45 — 19:30 Nemanja Savić: Video tricks & treats
19:30 — 19:45 Q&A with Nemanja
19:45 — Free Beer o' clock!
Our speaker partner, ICT županija helped us bring a true video finisher to shed some light on the matter and show what you need to focus on if you want to venture into the world of video production.
Nemanja Savić is a digital professional that produced, recorded and edited dozens of videos and TV shows for educational or entertainment purposes - and he's coming to Split to tell you all about the workflow of a video finisher, things he learned, and of course - tricks and treats on creating better videos for your marketing channels.
If you're never been to Tinel, here's what you can expect.
Every single month we bring prominent tech speakers to Split in order to distribute knowledge to the growing local tech community. Sometimes during the Tinel journey, we joined forces with ICT županija, a partner that recognized the event potential and instantly started to support the cause.
We put a big emphasis on networking and meeting new people that share your interests, so we strongly suggest that you arrive a bit earlier. Our event partners LAB Split, Bokamorra and Biberon Cakes will make sure that you are well refreshed with complimentary pizza, craft beers and delicious cakes.
See you at the Halloween edition of Tinel Meetup, don't miss out!
