In this talk, Katie will share perspectives from the agency side to look at the question in a new light (hint: from the inside out) and explore how to get buy-in to drive project and team success. We’ll talk about what it means to build flexible frameworks, compile the right toolkit, and be an all-star advocate for yourself in a predominantly design-first world.

Katie Del Angel is a content strategist with a marketing background and a penchant for great UX design. She is passionate about bringing order and structure to teams to help them leverage content effectively. Most recently she developed a content and commerce framework for B2B and B2C brands with Copious, a digital agency in Portland, OR. Before that, she wrangled a cross-departmental team of content contributors at Connective DX to fuel the inbound marketing engine. When she's not tinkering with words and spreadsheets, she's spearheading the CS PDX Meetup group and rallying an underground Cheese Club.
