The Craft of Content-first Design: A UX Writing Workshop

Oct 22, 2019 · San Diego, United States of America

*Space is limited for this impactful and engaging workshop. Please be respectful of your fellow community members by only RSVPing "yes" if you can attend. Thank you - the SDXD Team!*

“I’ll just put some Lorem Ipsum here and figure out the content later," said every designer at some point. Ditch the placeholder text and come learn more about what content-first design is, the impact it has on the success of your customers, and how you can incorporate this critical design skill into your everyday work. You’ll get hands-on experience wireframing and prototyping content-first designs, plus templates and tools you can take back to your own teams to start making content the first stop in the design process.

This workshop will cover:

1. How to use storytelling to inform the design and flow of a product experience

2. How to develop content-first wireframes and user flows

3. How to use a customer journey map through a content lens

4. UX writing fundamentals, including hierarchy, flow, and voice and tone
