The January edition of the TechLunch will be about Chatbots. Why it's a new interesting medium, what and how to build with it and examples of what has already been done.
We will have three talks of 15mn each (with a 5mn break for questions in between), followed by a more casual networking time.
Let's Chat(bot)! by Liam Boogar from Algolia
A 15-minute exploration of the history, present state, and future of the Chatbot ecosystem
The CommitStrip chatbot by Thomas Guenoux from CommitStrip
Chatbots are a great way to consume and subscribe to content, and big platforms like Messenger, Whatsapp or Slack are heavily promoting them. That's why we've built the CommitBot, a new way to consume and subscribe to our (almost) daily strips. We'll share the experience of how we've built this bot (with many different APIs) and why we've launched a chatbot agency, Oh My Bot!, to help medias and brands to build their chatbots.
Chatbots tools by Pierre-Edouard Lieb from Recast.ai
Pierre-Edouard will detail the different APIs and tools you need in order to build a great bot and will do an overview of some of the best.
Note that this event is scheduled during lunch. We will have food for all the registered persons, but try not to be late so we do not waste.
Entrance will be at the corner of Rue St-Martin and Rue Pernelle, 4th floor.
Talks will be in English, recorded and published on YouTube afterwards.
