Description: Multi-class Classification is a notoriously difficult problem to solve, even more so when the input data could be any of multiple languages. How can we configure a model and clean the data adequately so that we can give people the services they need in the languages they're comfortable with? We will use HuggingFace to manage our configs and to help provide us with some structure as we train a model and make a processing pipeline from scratch.
Speaker: Chris Brousseau leads a data science team at MasterCard focused on multi-lingual and multi-national modeling. He has a passion for NLP and machine translation, almost as deep as for his wife and kids.
