Out of the “2017 Retro/2018 Visioning Exercise” in January our community expressed interest in deepening the skills of coaching and mentoring.

To support this Stuart McCalla, David Chilcott and Lisa Engelbert will be teaching a workshop on Peer Coaching.

Purpose: To introduce and provide an opportunity to practice Peer Coaching basics.

Desired Outcomes:

Stuart McCalla is an agile coach with over 20 years of business organization, team facilitation, lean startup and project management skills with experience from a wide variety of industries (non-profit, financial services, and startups). His two two areas of focus are Software teams and Organizational Management. Currently he works at Salesforce as an Enterprise Agile Coach and business consultant.

David Chilcott has an unusual set of skills that encompasses both the deeply technical and the deeply human aspects of software development. In addition to his background as a system architect and software developer, David holds a degree in group dynamics, and has completed formal training in a wide variety of systems and methods at the intersection of human systems and organizational development. His passionate focus on collaboration and clear communication supports effective Agile business consulting, leadership and management coaching, and team facilitation, training, and coaching.

Lisa Engelbert loves coaching teams: to deliver amazing products that delight customers; to enjoy the journey and continuously adapt and learn from it; and to build deep connections with each other that overcome the challenges life and work present. Currently a Scrum Master/Agile Enthusiast at Autodesk, Inc.
