Swift is Apple’s new language option for programming native iOS applications. It complements Objective-C, and this will be the case for some time, now at version 4, there no better time than now to start learning.
In this free, 2 session workshop (September 6 & 13), Senior iOS Developer, Timirah James will show you how to get started developing iOS applications with Swift 3. You will first learn how to setup your development environment. Then you will get an in-depth introduction to the basics of Swift; which will include syntax, basic math, and how to organize code so it's easily reused in your apps. We will also look compare the syntax with Objective-C. Also, Timirah will walk you through the building of a iOS app using Swift.
