SUMMER OF DESIGN 2018-REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Are you spending the summer in DC and want to meet and interact with fellow design thinkers and innovators? Are you ready for something different? Do you want to use design thinking to change and impact the community right here in DC? Join us this summer and apply design thinking to a real-world, local problem!

Together we will grow our creative capacity, learn new tools to jump-start innovation and collaborate with local creative catalysts to make our world a better place. We are collaborating with an All-Star line-up of community partners for our 2018 challenge. This year's Summer of Design includes weekly in-person workshops hosted by our sponsor Capital One; video workshops provided by the University of Virginia Darden School Foundation, curated by Jeanne Liedtka, co-author of Designing for Growth, and professor of Business Administration at the Darden School of Business; design thinking mentors from DT:DC and a Statement of Accomplishment from the University of Virginia Darden School Foundation.

During this year’s challenge, participants will have an opportunity to work with Capital One on a social justice issue to address the needs of financially unstable populations in our community. Summer of Design participants will present their ideas shark-tank style to a panel of Judges on August 8, 2018.

Space is limited to 50 participants so sign up TODAY if you want to guarantee your spot. Learn more about Summer of Design here. (http://summerofdesigndc.com)
