Software Craftsmanship with Mark Seemann

Abstract:

Learn how to think productively about software development, so that you can maintain a sustainable pace, even with a growing code base. This presentation contains two parts:

The first part is about humane code, and how programming is first and foremost an activity that ought to focus on communication. Aimed at both programmers and their managers, this part is light on code.

The second part focuses on the application of the principles described in the first part, so is heavy on code examples.

17:00-17:05: NNIT Introduction of Speaker etc

17:05-18:00:  Mark Software Craftsmanship Talk 1 (also for managers of developers)

18:00-18:15: Grab a sandwich & soft drink

18:15-19:15: Mark Software Craftsmanship Talk 2 (primarily for developers)

19:15-19:30: Mingle and exit

How to get to the event:

If you are going by public transport then look for the stop called "Gladsaxe Trafikplads". With regards to parking you can use the parking spots behind the NNIT building on Sydmarken 46 (from 16:40). Access to NNIT will be through the main entrance on Østmarken 3A.
