Is Big Data Too Big for SQL? Are you a Big Data leader or technologist willing to take Big Data to masses? Are you looking to migrate your legacy database applications to Big Data technologies? Can you reimagine your Big Data world with familiar looking SQL and BI tools and leverage your existing team’s skill set? Then look no further and plan to attend an exciting one day event in your area on Big Data Technology at AT&T office in Los Angeles focused on SQL on Hadoop.
Leading vendors are excited to present their innovation in this space along with success stories of early adopters. This one-day event is divided into various themes with parallel sessions. The themes include Strategy, architecture and migration paths towards building low latency response, adhoc reporting, OLAP Cubes, and real time reporting, transactional support on Big Data platforms. Topics of interest include but not limited to Hive, Impala, Presto, Drill, Hawq, Spark SQL, Big SQL, Vertica SQL/H, Impala, Kudu, Splice Machine, AtScale, and other BI tools with SQL integration. You will experience live demos on some of these technologies and interact one-on-one with industry experts and have plenty of time for Q&A.
The goal of this event is to create a community in Southern California, where members share knowledge, vendors showcase their products and best practices are discovered. Breakfast and lunch will be served and there will be a network reception following the main presentations starting at 3:00 PM. You will be asked to participate in an optional survey on these presentations to help improve quality of similar events in future. Agenda:
