Description: For many of today’s most interesting and valuable data problems the biggest challenge is finding and synthesizing many snippets of information to answer a specific question; the catch is that this information is often spread across multiple data sources that aren’t optimized for your needs. This talk presents examples of data linkage in the wild, and offers repeatable patterns for solving a variety of linkage challenges. 

Speaker Bio: Thomas Moran leads the Analytics data science team at Enigma, tackling data problems for a customer portfolio ranging from the Fortune 100 to municipal governments. His prior roles include missile defense watchdog, climate change researcher, Air Force mechanic, and small-time rocker.
