Looking forward to seeing everyone at Sensored Meetup #10! As you know, usually we have 4 (or so) members of the community give tech talks about what they're working on, with time for discussion. And we like to mix it up and try new formats too. This week will be one of those experiments.
At this meetup, we're going to have 4 speakers and a panel discussion focused on different aspects of data. What are the different ways to access data from a sensor device, and what are the tradeoffs?
Data, data everywhere. Now what?
We, the community working with sensors and data, have many open questions and challenges. It's an exciting time to be in this field, but there are a lot of things we're still trying to figure out. We're not going to give out solutions here; the goal is to initiate a conversation about common problems we face. Then we can talk about how to solve them, in an ongoing iterative way.
Not just talk
The goal of this meetup is to have these conversations, and to collectively build a resource: "So, you want to build a connected sensor device? Here's what you should know about data." It can include open questions from the community as well. If you bring a laptop, you are welcome to take notes and contribute to this at the event. Where are the blinky lights?
And if you were really hoping for some blinky lights and some breadboard circuits, don't worry. May's meetup will have hardware.
Not in SF and want to join?
Revolve Robotics is letting you join via KUBI! How?

- Once in the Google hangout, to connect to control KUBI, go to: http://bit.ly/Z73GwR from a web browser or another mobile device.
This event made possible by STMicroelectronics & Lemnos Labs
Finally, thanks to this month's sponsor, STMicroelectronics (see their MEMS page here), and to our always-awesome host, Lemnos Labs.
Looking forward to talking to all of you about data!
