Talk: Advanced Behavioral Phishing - exploiting layer 8 and 9.
Audience: Red Teaming, Phishing, Spear Phishing, Social Engineering, OSINT - Beginner to Intermediate
This talk/workshop looks at targeted phishing (luring subjects into performing an action with malicious consequences via something like email) by exploiting user habits, trusted actions and the psychology behind successful phishing attacks.
A number of red-teaming scenarios will be examined with learnings on common pitfalls and mistakes, techniques to considerably increase results, and how to automate large-scale phishing attacks with good ways to measure campaign success.
This talk is based on fundamental psychological tricks commonly used by 3-letter agencies in exploiting the human consciousness.
The exercise is beginner level but you'll have to be quick if you are to be the first person to successfully bypass the target email filter.
This involves filter evasion, successfully dropping a payload and tricking the end user into clicking the email. This exercise also involves the use of a tool introduced by the speaker.
Door prize will also be drawn from those that arrive before 6pm.
