Registers of Scotland (RoS) is the non-ministerial government department responsible for compiling and maintaining 20 public Registers related to land, property and other legal documents in Scotland. We’re an organisation with centuries of history but a 21st century mandate to be a digital first asset for Scotland. A customer centric approach, and Agile methodologies are key ways of working as we design our new generation of digital services. We recently ran a Design Sprint and we’ll discuss ; * What led to running a Design Sprint * How we went about it * The highs, the lows, the pros and cons * Whether you should believe the hype * And ultimately – would we do another?
Clare moved from Front end coding into UX Research and Design, and took up snowboarding more years ago than she cares to remember. She has worked across paper, product and digital: ballot paper design, YouView, mobile apps and websites, and is now working with Government services and maps. Clare believes UX and snowboarding have made her a better person.
Craig is a user researcher at Registers of Scotland. He spends most of his spare time trying to divide his attention between a 4 month old baby and a pug, without the other getting jealous and has recently changed his on-off relationship status with personas from ‘it’s complicated’ to something a bit more favourable.
