Scala at Prezi: Keeping a multi-platform, continuously evolving DOM consistent

Prezi’s underlying document model is continuously evolving as we add new features, and it must work on various platforms (web, mobile, desktop and backend) perfectly even when different clients participate in a collaborative editing session. In this talk I will demonstrate how we keep things working with a combination of code generation, type safety and property based testing with the help of Scala.

About Daniel, in his own words: I started my career with developing a CAD software for 7 years at Kotem, then joined Prezi and worked on various backend projects leading to my current position where in the last 2.5 years I was working on Prezi's document and collaboration services, and also on introducing Scala for Prezi's backend teams.
