The principles and practices of the Scaled Agile Framework are helping to bring the business benefits of faster time to market, higher productivity, higher quality, and higher employee engagement to some of the world’s largest enterprises.
In this talk, Michael Stump describes how to Be Agile-Scale Up-Stay Lean and Have more Fun with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), a publicly–accessible knowledge base of proven Lean and Agile practices for enterprise-class system development.
He approaches the problem from the perspectives of Lean thinking and principles of product development flow, illustrating how these core principles help deliver business results at scale, while keeping the development system—and the enterprise—lean and able to responsive rapidly to changing market needs.
In addition, enterprises applying the framework have been getting better results, and since winning is more fun, Michael will also describe some of the positive changes to corporate culture that occur when an enterprise is experiencing success with scaled Lean and Agile methods.
Michael Stump is the Managing Director of EMEA and a SAFe Program Consultant Trainer for Scaled Agile, Inc., the exclusive certifying entity for SAFe®, the Scaled Agile Framework®.
He is a Lean-Agile Leader and mentor to executives on state-of-the-art SAFe practices in and beyond the software industry. His consulting and management experience enables him to lead, manage, and advise companies through great organizational change. As an advisory board member to technology companies, his specialty is Lean and Agile transitions within highly distributed, multi-cultural enterprises.
Michael is also a passionate helicopter pilot. A Zurich, Switzerland native, travels the globe and lives in New York City.
