Teaching engineers about content strategy
Stephanie Blotner, Senior Technical Writer, Uber
Engineers can be great contributors to internal and external docs, but they may not know the tech writing fundamentals that take content from “fine” to “so helpful!”
Teaching engineers how to write clear, empathetic docs can help free your writing team to focus on strategic work and increase user empathy.
In this talk, Stephanie will share what she’s learned from teaching engineers writing best practices at Uber, sharing how the approaches changed as Uber grew.
