React state management - what a headache. So many options, so much conflicting information, so many opinions. I have been down the rabbit hole with almost all of them.

But I was missing something - I wasn't fully aware of the different between "UI state" and "Server cache in the UI". 'react-query' has shown me the light, and I would like to share what I've learned.
