PyData NYC Talk Proposal Workshop, co-hosted with NYC Python

The deadline to submit your talk proposal for PyData NYC is August 12 (https://pydata.org/nyc2018/cfp/)! Are you ready?

Join PyData NYC meetup and NYC Python for a night of proposal brainstorming and creation. We will meet as a breakout group within the larger NYC Python weekly Project Night. The first part of the evening will be a discussion about what makes a good proposal. The second part of the evening we will workshop and share our ideas.

All levels welcome, including first-time speakers!

PyData NYC (https://pydata.org/nyc2018/), held October 17-19, 2018, is a flagship annual event for NumFOCUS, the 501(c)(3) behind some of your favorite open source data science libraries, such as pandas, numpy, and matplotlib.

Doors open at 6pm, event starts at 6:30pm. You must be on the RSVP list to attend. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
