ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT

Change calls for change makers. Worldwide, thousands of decision-makers choose Masters Degrees in Business and Management for their education / professional development. These days, thousands of business graduates work on SMART cities projects. Do business and management graduates develop the right skills necessary to drive change in cities? Imperial College Business School has recently launched a new MBA module on “The Future of Cities” as an attempt to expose students to some of the key challenges. In this workshop participants will: Discuss the skills gap - Brainstorm on innovative learning experiences that could be integrated in MBA/Masters curricula to bridge the skills gap. Our workshop begins with an engaging introduction to the evolution of business education. The workshop will then transition to an interactive series of brainstorming activities in groups facilitated by MBA students. Findings will be used by Imperial College Business School to publish a white paper.
