Practical RxJava with Kramer Allen

Jun 6 - 7, 2017 · Brentwood, United States of America

An intro to RxJava and how it can actually be used day to day. This will be the perfect talk for anyone who is curious about RxJava but is not sure when or why to use it. We'll cover a wide range of use-cases and we'll simplify some clunky code with RxJava.

Kramer is a software Engineer at LifeWay adapting to the functional and reactive paradigms as fast he can. He's currently developing message-driven applications using Java 8, Scala and Groovy.

From Granny White Pike, turn on to Maryland Way heading East . Take your first Left onto Powell Ct.

The door to the building automatically locks at 6:00pm. There will be a sign with a number to text if you need the door opened. Feel free to message the group if you have any problems getting in.

Want to speak?

We are on the lookout for more speakers. That could be you! You don't have to be some big shot developer advocate. Got a story about some tool you used recently, love or hate? Just let us know. It's as easy as that.
