Podcasting 101

Ever listened to a podcast and thought, “I can do that!” now’s your chance!

Join us for a course that gives you all the tools you need to start your own podcast. In this one-day class, you will learn about podcasts, the ins and outs of our sound booth, how to best use microphones, and the professional software you need to make your podcast.

Course Details:

Prerequisite knowledge: Basic Computer Skills

What you will learn: How to plan and prepare your podcast, how to record and basic editing techniques.

BIG is a non-profit community media center for the Brookline community and beyond. A first amendment resource to all community members, it encourages and empowers community members and organizations to share their thoughts and tell their stories, and educates them on how to do so with media. BIG provides members with access to two television studios, two computer media lab classrooms, private editing suites, extensive film equipment, editing software, and in depth expertise on media creation.
