This talk will cover how we at Red Ventures optimize our customer experience websites with data science. This is both a modeling and algorithms problem and a technology problem - these models need to respond real-time and serve the optimal website for that particular customer without hurting site load time. We will specifically talk about the following:
• How we model customer propensity to respond to a given piece of content using XGBoost models in R.
• How we integrate these models into the website testing platform to provide real-time decisions.
• The technology that enables data to be captured from the website and feed these nightly updating models.
