This time we will have a break from Deep Learning topics and deep dive into additional interesting Machine Learning research areas.
Roee Litman will present his work on Supervised Learning of Bag-of-features Descriptors Using Sparse Coding.
Roee is a Phd candidate at Tel Aviv University under the supervision of prof. Alex Bronstein. You can find a list of his works here:

Joseph Levitas will conduct an introductory lecture on Fuzzy Logic.
Dr. Joseph Levitas is the Technion alumnus. His M.Sc. research was in the field of Fluid Mechanics, and D.Sc. was on the Cell Mapping – the method of a global analysis of the Nonlinear Dynamical systems. He has more than 20 years of Industrial Experience, and he has taught academic courses on Fluid Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Fuzzy Logic, and Neural Networks. Currently he is a Freelance Algorithm Developer, and also supervises Technion EE students on an Autonomous Vehicle Control.
