Hi PyLadies and allies!
From February 2022 PyLadies Berlin will host this new event series focused on open source. The event will take place once a month for a duration of 3 month for now, with a possible extension depending on interest.
With this event series we want to create a welcoming and safe space in which folks can come together to work on open source projects. The idea is to foster our community, support each other, learn from each other and to help our members with building a strong public professional profile.
You have never contributed to an open source project before but are interested and would like to explore this space? Sign up and we'll help you with finding and getting started on a project that matches your interests. :)
‼️Attention‼️
This event will be an in-person event. (The first one in a long time! 🎉) To make all attendees feel safe we ask everyone to be fully vaccinated or recovered (2G) and additionally IRRESPECTIVE OF THE BOOSTER STATUS to either do a test at a test station (Schnelltest) on the day of the event or to do a self-test on-site at the start of the event. For now, the maximum number of participants is capped at 10 and we hope to be able to increase that number over time.
Any other requirements?
Bring you own laptop. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
