Open Hack Week

OHW is a week long hackathon aimed at celebrating student developers while exposing to building actual solutions to solve different organizational problems.
- Real life problems are enlisted by different organizations such as, NGOs, Start-ups, Tech companies etc.
- Participants are a team of 3-5 persons, each team is allocated a problem at random and is to work collaboratively in providing a suitable solution to the allocated problem.
- On the final day, participants who successfully completed the challenge will pitch and showcase their solutions to the sponsors. Organizations will select the best solution and celebrate the team by possibly providing compensation to complete the solution to a more advanced level.


July 29th:
Event starts, necessary information concerning the hackathon is announced, organizations meet with participants to explain problem statement. The challenge kicks-off.

July 30th - Aug 1st:
Students work on the problems and try as much as possible to provide a working solution.

Aug. 2nd
Pitch preparation, CV writing, interview and career fair preparation

Aug 3rd
Grand finale, pitch session of solutions to organizations, career fair session, announcement of selected solutions by organizations and celebration of the participants
