Learn how to create your own Open Badges to recognize learning through arts events and activities and find out about the results of our recent research through the BadgeLAB Leeds project.
BadgeLAB Leeds is an arts engagement and research project that began in September 2014. The project partners, DigitalMe, ArtForms Leeds and Sheffield Hallam University, have received support from the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts - Nesta, Arts Council England and the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
BadgeLAB Leeds has offered a range of badged arts activities around Leeds and collected data from these activities with a view to understanding whether Open Badges can support engagement, participation and progression with the arts.
This event will celebrate and disseminate what we have learned through the work of BadgeLAB Leeds, share our research findings and help arts practitioners get started with Open Badges.
