NYC Java Monthly Meetup

Mar 17, 2008 · New York, United States of America

Hello, and welcome new members. The NYC Java meetup is primarily an open discussion and social networking meetup with occasional guest speakers and presentations. If anyone has any announcements or questions about Java technologies bring them to the meeting, this is an excellent opportunity to network with local Java enthusiasts. To sponsor either a location and/or refreshments or donate door prizes for future meetings contact the organizer or assistant organizer. This time we'll try to meet at a cafe and keep it as a social networking meeting this month (gramstand does have wifi so we could some demos). The meeting location posted is a suggestion (feel free to suggest alternate locations). Please note that we may have to move to a nearby bar. The previous meeting was a joint meeting with the NYCJava.net JUG and held at Sun Microsystems and featured Cameron Purdy as the speaker. Door prizes were courtesy of Sun Microsystems and Prentice Hall. Thanks to Francois for posting the photos!
