In this special edition of JavaScript the Hard Parts, we will cover how to work with data, the event loop, and streams in Node. During this free live interactive workshop, you’ll learn how this popular backend technology functions so you can use it in your work or projects!

This is a limited 2-part workshop series taking place over two consecutive days. The sessions will build on each other, so we recommend attending both for a more complete experience.

Tuesday, February 9th @ 5pm PT / 8pm ET - PART I
Wednesday, February 10th @ 5pm PT / 8pm ET - PART II

- Use the file system to work with data
- Understand Node’s event system
- Understand how to optimize working with big data using streams

Experience Level: All experience levels welcome as we’ll build from first principles. However, some experience with JavaScript is recommended (we recommend having attended previous JavaScript The Hard Parts workshops such as callbacks, closures, asynchronicity).
