Node.js Meetup #36 (free food and refreshments)

Oct 8, 2019 · Berlin, Germany

Talk #1: Conducting Effective Code Reviews
Code review is one of the best defenses against introducing bugs into the codebase. Umut Benzer will show just how far we've come in automating this, what's still left for human reviewers & what we should focus on and how to best communicate in the progress of code reviewing.

Talk #2: Worker Threads: The Bigger, The Better
Vilva Athiban will explain about the existing Node JS structure, need for multiple process and how Worker threads comes to rescue.
He will show us the steps to implement worker thread. A tech talk without code is no fun and hence he will show a code demo and performance comparisons of using Worker threads after the explanations.

We're back at Contentful for this edition.
