(Taught in a combination of Dutch and English.)
During this bootcamp of five weekly workshops on Sunday afternoons, kids ages 7-12 will learn about computer science (the principles which guide all technology) by using and designing robots which can play popular (no tech) games. Kids will begin by designing and building robots to play traditional games before finishing by designing their own robot game, complete with rules, strategies and point systems.
Think Tic, Tac, Toe, Four in a Row, Dominos. Kids will work in small teams to and take turns working as the team’s designer, builder and programmer. The tools used in the class will be Ozobots, LEGO WeDo and LEGO Mindstorms.
Our program will be taught in a combination of English and Dutch by a professional teacher with specialised computer science education training.
