New Engineer Onboarding - Talk & Discussion

Oct 9, 2017 · New York, United States of America

Note: We will start at 6:30 exactly.

Onboarding new employees is hugely important - as manager, you are the person responsible for introducing the new person to the organization, and making sure he or she learns the technologies, meets new people, and becomes productive as soon as you can.

This month, Jean Barmash, Director of Engineering at Compass, will talk about some of his experiences.   The talk will be interactive so that other attendees can share their own best practices.

As always, a group of us will hang out afterwards at a bar nearby.

We like to hang out at Rye, which is at 11 W 17th St, New York, NY 10011, between Avenue of Americas and 5th.   They have both drinks and food.
