NCI’s Director of the SBIR Development Center, Michael Weingarten, will be at UCSF this Friday to describe the SBIR and STTR programs, funding opportunities, policy changes that will make venture backed companies eligible and tips for writing a strong appication. Michael will be available from 2-5pm for 20 minute one on one meetings after his formal session in Genetech Hall S272-E. You can sign up by emailing him at weingartenm@mail.nih.gov to request a slot. He has requested that you send information about the sector your company is in and a one page overview or executive summary.
