Rob Lauer - Rise of Native JavaScript-Driven Development
If you consider yourself a web developer AND you want to build native mobile apps for iOS and Android, there are some new JavaScript frameworks that may be a perfect fit. NativeScript and React Native are two open source frameworks for creating native mobile apps using the skills of the web developer: JavaScript, CSS, and a tag-based markup language.
This talk will focus on technical details and real world app development with NativeScript and Angular 2. However we will also spend time looking at the core capabilities of both NativeScript and React Native. We will also compare and contrast these "native JavaScript" frameworks with hybrid mobile frameworks like Ionic.
