Our next meetup is Tuesday 18th April 2017
Thanks to our generous sponsors Atlassian for our new venue, pizzas and drinks.
Doors open at 6pm, and we'll start talks 6.30pm.
Law lessons - Legal implications for app developers
How you can make the world a better place (by building security into your Android apps)"
Ever heard about those security flaws affecting millions of Android users? Ever wondered if YOUR app is secure? Come along to this 15 minute crash course in how to build more secure Android apps and come out a better developer."
Robots and Testing
This talk will go into using a risked based approach to UI automation testing, how to communicate tests visually using a white board and sticky notes and to finish the talk off there will be a demo of a robot that I built to help automate mobile app testing.
For those who haven't been to our new venue yet, look for the Westpac building opposite Martin Place. The bank will be closed, so enter through the side entrance to access the lifts on Wynyard St. There will be someone from Atlassian there to let you up to level 6 in the lift.
When you arrive, the lifts will be locked, but some very kind Atlassian employees will be there to let us up to level 6. Please try and arrive by 6.20pm so that they can catch the talks from 6.30pm. If you are running late, there will be a mobile number you can call from the lobby, but if you can, please try and avoid that so that our lovely hosts can see all the talks :)
