*Engaging with the museums: where physical challenges and digital possibilities meet*
Sanneke Prins will give you insights in how the Van Gogh museum involves their visitors in their daily business as a museum as well as our approach in tackling complex problems. One of the multiple challenges they are solving every day is how to enrich the visitor experience while the number of visitors keeps growing with the buildings capacity is limited.
*Don’t serve the unity sausage*
Using food and cooking as a metaphor, Rolf shows that the design dominance of the big tech companies is creating a very bland dish that works for everybody, but isn’t great for anybody. He believes that (art) museums are places that welcome experiments and challenge the minds of the visitors. In this thinking, museums should be the source of inspiration for the big tech companies and not the other way around.
