Monthly Java Meetup: JavaOne 2013 Recap!

Oct 21, 2013 · New York, United States of America

This is our JavaOne 2013 Recap meetup.
We will have two speakers this meeting.
Firstly, Bojan Simic from Contrast Security will be speaking on how security is a pain for developers and for the enterprise, providing some statistics and the current state of security, and demoing a tool that gives you insight into the security of your applications in real time.  We saw him present at JavaOne this year, and think that it should be an interesting presentation for all serious Java developers.
Secondly, Timothy Fagan will recap some of highlights from JavaOne last month, including snippets from the most interesting sessions he attended.
We hope to see you there.
For those interested in the presentation and code Dario and Timothy delivered at JavaOne this year, the slides are available here:

Thanks to Gilt also for providing pizza and refreshments at this month's meetup.
