Christoph Engelbert: The Stateless Microservice Hoax
After the talk we have time for drinks and conversations.
Abstract
Given today's architectures, Microservices become an essential concept. Nobody would consider them to be pointless. A sword of Damocles, however, hangs over the Microservices-World; the term Stateless.
Scaling and Load-Balancing are core features to be guaranteed by new systems and to achieve that, those services are supposed to be implemented in a stateless fashion. Still, what sounds easy turns out to be a big challenge in the real world, up to a point where people could actually call it a hoax.
Background information, upcoming issues as well as solutions will be shown in this session and we want to solve some of them using Hazelcast IMDG right away.
