Jun 5, 2019 · München, Germany

Please keep your RSVP up to date, free spots are always in demand!

We will meet at 6:30pm at the canteen of RIO – a Brand of Volkswagen Truck & Bus (MAN Truck & Bus building), with drinks and pizza.

The talk starts at 7pm and will be in English
Tobias Küttner and Steve Behrendt: Microservice architecture in practice on AWS: DDD, Java Spring, React...

After the talk we have time for drinks and conversations.

Everyone talks and writes about Microservices, but few show off their actual implementation. We want to change this by opening up our architecture and giving you a peak into how we run. This means we will take you on a ride that dives into the whole development cycle starting at the split of our system into microservices (bounded contexts), how they look from the inside up to the point of how we deploy and manage our infrastructure and system on AWS (ECS) with Infrastructure as Code. All of this is a real system with real challenges and real pain points that we haven't solved yet, but want to show to you.

Bio Tobias:
Tobi works as Software Developer at eeMobility GmbH. He is fascinated by connecting real physical systems in the cloud and controlling them intelligent.

Bio Steve:
Steve is a polyglot Architect that spends his days at the whiteboard and loves to help companies navigate their way toward service-oriented architecture or microservices as the hipster call it these days.
